machine translationThis is a mistake. It is only from Abū Saʿīd, as his own saying (mawqūf). Qatādah and a group of the memorizers (ḥuffāẓ) narrated it from Ḥumayd, from Abū al-Mutawakkil, from Abū Saʿīd, as his own saying.

in صحيح ابن خزيمة, p. 2185 - Ibn Khuzaymah
machine translationThis phrase, "and cupping for the fasting person", is only from the saying of Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, not from the Prophet ﷺ; it was interpolated (udrija) into the report. Perhaps al-Muʿtamir narrated this from memory and so interpolated it. In the edition of al-Aʿẓamī: this statement was incorporated into the report of the Prophet ﷺ, or he said: Abū Saʿīd said, "and he permitted cupping for the fasting person", but he did not preserve it accurately from him. Abū Saʿīd said, so this statement was interpolated into the report.

machine translationThose who traced it back to the Prophet (rafaʿūhu) are trustworthy (thiqāt), and they added to it, and an addition from a trustworthy narrator is accepted.

machine translationIt was recorded by al-Nasāʾī, Ibn Khuzaymah and al-Dāraquṭnī, and its narrators are trustworthy (thiqāt), but there is disagreement about whether it is traced back to the Prophet (marfūʿ) or halted at the Companion (mawqūf).
