✧ The Prophet ﷺ was in a shade, and a man from Banu Bayadah came to him and said: O Prophet of God, I am burned. The Prophet ﷺ said to him: "What is the matter with you?" He said: I had intercourse with my wife while I was fasting, and that was in Ramadan. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to him: "Free a slave." He said: I cannot find one. He said: "Feed sixty poor persons." He said: I do not have it. He said: "Sit down." So he sat down. Then the Messenger of God ﷺ was brought a large basket (araq) containing twenty sa's, and he said: "Where is the one who asked just now?" He said: Here I am, O Messenger of God. He said: "Take this and give it in charity." He said: O Messenger of God, to those more needy than me and my family? For by the One who sent you with the truth, we have no dinner for a night. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Then take it back for yourself and your family."
