✧ Anas was asked: "Did the Prophet of Allah ﷺ raise his hands?" He said: "It was said on Friday: 'O Messenger of Allah, the rain has failed, the land has become barren, and the livestock have perished.'" He said: "So he raised his hands until I saw the whiteness of his armpits, and he prayed for rain while we saw no cloud in the sky." He said: "We had not finished the prayer before the young man whose house was near was concerned about returning to his family due to the heavy rain. It lasted for a week. Then they said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the houses have collapsed and the travelers have been detained.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled and said with his hand: 'O Allah, around us and not upon us.' Then it cleared from Madinah."
