He said, "You are like the female companions of Yusuf. Tell Bilal to give the adhan, and tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." Then he lost consciousness, so they commanded Bilal and he gave the adhan and the iqamah, and they commanded Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer. Then he regained consciousness and said, "Has the prayer been established?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Bring me someone to lean on." They brought Burayrah and another man, and he leaned on them. Then he went out to the prayer and was seated next to Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr began to withdraw, but he held him until he finished the prayer.

machine translationSalamah b. Nubayṭ narrated it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Yūnus b. Bukayr narrated it from Salamah b. Nubayṭ, from his father, from Sālim b. ʿUbayd. Isḥāq al-Azraq, Ḥumayd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ruʾāsī and ʿAbdullāh b. Dāwūd al-Kharībī contradicted him; they narrated it from Salamah b. Nubayṭ, from Nuʿaym b. Abī Hind, from Nubayṭ b. Sharīṭ, from Sālim b. ʿUbayd, and this is the correct one.
