✧ Abu Musa al-Ash'ari led us in prayer. When he sat in the last part of his prayer, a man among them said: “Prayer has been joined with righteousness and zakah.” When Abu Musa al-Ash'ari finished, he said: “Which of you said the words such-and-such? Do you not know what you say in your prayer? The Messenger of God ﷺ addressed us and explained our Sunnah to us and taught us our prayer. He said: ‘When you pray, straighten your rows, and let one of you lead you. When the imam says the takbir, say the takbir. When he says: “not of those who earned wrath nor of those who went astray,” say: “Amin,” and God will love you. When he says the takbir and bows, say the takbir and bow. The imam bows before you and rises before you.’” The Prophet of God ﷺ said: “That is for that. When he says the takbir and prostrates, prostrate. The imam prostrates before you and rises before you.” Bundar added: The Prophet of God said: “That is for that.”
