machine translationMy father said: This is a mistake. This is not ʿAbd al-Malik b. Abī Sulaymān, and I do not know that ʿAbd al-Malik b. Abī Sulaymān narrated anything from Nāfiʿ. It is rather ʿAbd al-Malik b. Jurayj. I mentioned that to ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn b. al-Junayd, and he said to me: I heard Muḥammad b. Muslim b. Wārah, who narrated this hadith to us from Hārūn b. Isḥāq, say: It is rather Ibn Numayr, from ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ.
