أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ إِيَاسٍ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ حَيَّانَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ:
بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَتَرَمَّى بِأَسْهُمٍ لِي عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِذِ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَنَبَذْتُهَا وَانْطَلَقْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَانْتَهَيْتُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ رَافِعٌ يَدَيْهِ يُسَبِّحُ، وَيُكَبِّرُ، وَيُحَمِّدُ، وَيَدْعُو حَتَّى انْجَلَتْ، وَقَرَأَ سُورَتَيْنِ، وَرَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

✧ While I was shooting with some arrows of mine during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the sun eclipsed. I threw them down and went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I arrived while he was standing, raising his hands, glorifying, magnifying, praising, and supplicating until it cleared. He recited two surahs and bowed in two rak'ahs."
