✧ 'Alqamah led us in Zuhr and prayed five rak'ahs. When he gave the salutation, the people said, 'O Abu Shibl, you have prayed five.' He said, 'Not at all; I did not do that.' They said, 'Yes, you did.' He said, 'I was at the side of the people, and I was a boy, so I said, 'Yes, you have prayed five.' He said to me, 'And you too, O one-eyed, do you say that?' I said, 'Yes.' He turned, prostrated two prostrations, then gave the salutation, then said: 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in five rak'ahs, and when he turned away, the people whispered among themselves. He said, 'What is the matter with you?' They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, has there been an addition to the prayer?' He said, 'No.' They said, 'You have prayed five.' He turned, prostrated two prostrations, then gave the salutation, then said, 'I am only a human being; I forget as you forget.'
