أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِذَا شَكَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيُلْغِ الشَّكَّ، وَلْيَبْنِ عَلَى الْيَقِينِ، فَإِنِ اسْتَيْقَنَ التَّمَامَ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، فَإِنْ كَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ تَامَّةً كَانَتِ الرَّكْعَةُ نَافِلَةً وَالسَّجْدَتَانِ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ نَاقِصَةً كَانَتِ الرَّكْعَةُ تَمَامًا لِصَلَاتِهِ وَالسَّجْدَتَانِ تُرْغِمَانِ أَنْفَ الشَّيْطَانِ

✧ If one of you doubts in his prayer, let him disregard the doubt and build upon certainty. Then if he becomes certain of completion, he prostrates two prostrations. If his prayer was complete, the rak'ah and the two prostrations are supererogatory. If it was deficient, the rak'ah completes his prayer and the two prostrations humiliate Satan.
