His marriage to Zaynab bt. Khuzaymah
[ زَوَاجُهُ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ خُزَيْمَةَ ] وَتَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافِ بْنِ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ وَكَانَتْ تُسْمَى أُمَّ الْمَسَاكِينِ، لِرَحْمَتِهَا إيَّاهُمْ، وَرِقَّتِهَا عَلَيْهِمْ، زَوَّجَهُ إيَّاهَا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْهِلَالِيُّ وَأَصْدَقَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَرْبَعَ مِئَةِ دِرْهَمٍ، وَكَانَتْ قَبْلَهُ عِنْدَ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ، وَكَانَتْ قَبْلَ عُبَيْدَةَ عِنْدَ جَهْمِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَمِّهَا
Translation
✧ [His marriage to Zaynab bt. Khuzaymah] The Messenger of God ﷺ married Zaynab bt. Khuzaymah b. al-Ḥārith b. ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAmr b. ʿAbd Manāf b. Hilāl b. ʿĀmir b. Ṣaʿṣaʿah. She was called Umm al-Masākīn (Mother of the Poor) because of her compassion for them and her tenderness toward them. Qabīṣah b. ʿAmr al-Hilālī gave her in marriage to him, and the Messenger of God ﷺ gave her a bride-price of four hundred dirhams. Before him, she had been married to ʿUbaydah b. al-Ḥārith b. ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib b. ʿAbd Manāf, and before ʿUbaydah she had been married to Jahm b. ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith, who was her paternal cousin.
