The Exclusive Assumption of the Guardianship of the House by a Group from Khuzāʿah

Translation

✧ [The children of Quṣayy] Ibn Isḥāq said: Then Quṣayy b. Kilāb asked Ḥulayl b. Ḥubshiyyah for his daughter Ḥubbā in marriage, and Ḥulayl desired him, so he gave her to him in marriage. She bore him ʿAbd al-Dār, ʿAbd Manāf, ʿAbd al-ʿUzzā, and ʿAbdan. When the children of Quṣayy had spread, and his wealth had grown abundant, and his honor had become great, Ḥulayl died.
