The genealogy of Bāriq
[ وَلَدَا كِلَابٍ وَأُمُّهُمَا ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: فَوَلَدَ كِلَابُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ رَجُلَيْنِ: قُصَيَّ بْنَ كِلَابٍ، وَزُهْرَةَ بْنَ كِلَابٍ. وَأُمُّهُمَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَيَلٍ أَحَدِ ( بَنِي ) الْجَدَرَةِ، مِنْ جُعْثُمَةَ الْأَزْدِ، مِنْ الْيَمَنِ، حُلَفَاءُ فِي بَنِي الدَّيْلِ بْنِ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافِ بْنِ كِنَانَةَ
Translation
✧ [The two sons of Kilāb and their mother] Ibn Isḥāq said: Kilāb b. Murrah had two sons: Quṣayy b. Kilāb and Zuhrah b. Kilāb. Their mother was Fāṭimah bt. Saʿd b. Sayal, one of the Banū al-Jadarah, of Juʿthumah al-Azd, from Yemen, allies among the Banū al-Dayl b. Bakr b. ʿAbd Manāf b. Kinānah.
