أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

كَانَ بَيْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ شَيْءٌ فَسَبَّهُ خَالِدٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تَسُبُّوا أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِي؛ فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَوْ أَنْفَقَ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا مَا أَدْرَكَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ وَلَا نَصِيفَهُ»

Translation

  5. Abū Ṣāliḥ
  6. Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

✧ There was something between ‘Abd al-Rahman and Khalid b. al-Walid, and Khalid insulted him. The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “Do not insult any of my Companions. For if one of you were to spend the like of Mount Uhud in gold, he would not attain a mudd of one of them, nor even half of it.”
