✧ A man from the Muhajirun struck a man from the Ansar on the backside. The Ansari said, 'O Ansar!' and the Muhajir said, 'O Muhajirun!' He said: The Prophet ﷺ heard that and said, 'What is this call of the Jahiliyyah?' They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, a man from the Muhajirun struck a man from the Ansar.' He said, 'Leave it, for it is stinking.' Then 'Abd Allah b. Ubayy b. Salul said, 'They have done it. If we return to Madinah, the more honorable will surely expel the more humble from it.' 'Umar said, 'Let me, O Messenger of Allah, strike the neck of this hypocrite.' He said, 'Leave him, lest people say that Muhammad kills his companions.'
