✧ What is disliked from speech and what is not disliked?

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَنْ حَلَفَ بِاللَّاتِ وَالْعُزَّى فَلْيَقُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَمَنْ قَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ تَعَالَ أُقَامِرْكَ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِشَيْءٍ»

✧ Whoever swears by al-Lat and al-‘Uzza, let him say, “There is no god but Allah.” And whoever says to his companion, “Come, let me gamble with you,” let him give something in charity.
