✧ When you take to your bed, perform ablution as you would for prayer, then lie down on your right side, then say: 'O Allah, I have submitted my face to You and delegated my affair to You and entrusted my back to You, out of desire and fear of You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have sent down and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.' And make it the last thing you say. Then if you die, you die upon the fitrah. I said: 'Should I memorize them: and in Your Messenger whom You have sent?' He said: 'And in Your Prophet whom You have sent.'
