✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ slept one day near me, then woke up smiling. I said, “O Messenger of Allah, what made you laugh?” He said, “People of my community were shown to me riding on the back of this green sea like kings upon thrones.” She said, “Supplicate Allah to make me one of them.” He supplicated for her. Then he slept a second time and did the like, and she said the like of her words, and he answered her with the like of his first words. She said, “Supplicate Allah to make me one of them.” He said, “You are among the first.” She went out with her husband ʿUbādah b. al-Ṣāmit as a warrior the first time the Muslims rode the sea with Muʿāwiyah. When they returned from their expedition, her mount was brought near for her to ride, but she fell and died.
