✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came across a man from the tribe of Salimah while I was with him. The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, both my parents have passed away. Is there anything left for me to do in their favor after their death?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Yes, offer prayers for them, seek forgiveness for them, fulfill their covenants after their death, honor their close friends, and maintain good relations with their relatives, for there is no kinship for you except through them." The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is abundant and pleasant. What should I do?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Act upon this."
