أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَخِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِخَمْسٍ بَقِينَ مِنْ ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ «فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ أَنْ يَحِلَّ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ سَاقَ هَدْيًا» قَالَتْ وَأَتَيْنَا بِلَحْمِ بَقَرٍ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذَا؟ قَالُوا «ذَبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ»

✧ We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when five nights remained of Dhul-Qa'dah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that whoever had circumambulated the House should exit ihram, unless he had driven a sacrificial animal. She ('A'ishah) said, "And beef was brought to us, so I said, 'What is this?' They said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ slaughtered on behalf of his wives.'"
