✧ We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when five nights remained of Dhul-Qa'dah, not thinking except that it was Hajj. When we drew near to Makkah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that whoever did not have a sacrificial animal with him, when he had circumambulated the House and walked between al-Safa and al-Marwah, should exit ihram. 'A'ishah said, "On the Day of Sacrifice he came to us with beef, so I said, 'What is this?' He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ slaughtered on behalf of his wives.'"

machine translationSomeone else claimed that this is a mistake on the part of ʿUrwah, and that the correct version is the narration of al-Aswad, al-Qāsim and ʿAmrah from her, that she entered the state of iḥrām for Ḥajj alone (ifrād).
