✧ When Allah accepted the repentance of his grandfather Abu Lubabah for his staying behind from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and for matters in which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had been angry with him, he said, “O Messenger of Allah, I will abandon my house in which I committed the sin, and I will move to you and live with you. I will detach myself from all my wealth as charity to Allah and His Messenger.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, “A third of that will suffice you.”
