أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بِبُسْتَ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِنَسَا وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُزَنِيُّ بِجُرْجَانَ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُجَيْرٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ بِصُغْدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُعَافَى بْنِ أَبِي حَنْظَلَةَ بِصَيْدَا وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ اللَّخْمِيُّ بِعَسْقَلَانَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الطَّائِيُّ بِمَنْبِجَ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْقَطَّانُ بِالرَّقَّةِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ فَيَّاضٍ بِدِمَشْقَ فِي آخَرِينَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْأَزْرَقُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُهَاجِرِ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«إِنَّ الرِّزْقَ لَيَطْلُبُ الْعَبْدَ كَمَا يَطْلُبُهُ أَجَلُهُ»

    يرويه إسماعيل بن عبيد الله واختلف عنه فرواه عبد الرحمن بن يزيد بن جابر عن إسماعيل مرفوعا قال ذلك هشام بن خالد عن الوليد عن ابن جابر وغيره يرويه عنه موقوفا وقيل عن هشام بن خالد أيضا عن الوليد عن الأوزاعي عن إسماعيل بن عبيد الله ولا يصح فيه الأوزاعي ورواه الهيثم بن خارجة عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد بن جابر عن إسماعيل بن عبيد الله عن أم الدرداء عن أبي الدرداء موقوفا وهو الصواب

    machine translationIsmāʿīl b. ʿUbaydillāh narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Yazīd b. Jābir narrated it from Ismāʿīl as raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ). Hishām b. Khālid said that from al-Walīd from Ibn Jābir, while others narrate it from him as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf). It is also said, from Hishām b. Khālid as well, from al-Walīd from al-Awzāʿī from Ismāʿīl b. ʿUbaydillāh, but al-Awzāʿī is not authentic in it. Al-Haytham b. Khārijah narrated it from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Yazīd b. Jābir from Ismāʿīl b. ʿUbaydillāh from Umm al-Dardāʾ from Abū al-Dardāʾ as mawqūf, and that is the correct one.
