أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ

أَنَّهُ رَأَى قَوْمًا يُصَلُّونَ الضُّحَى فِي مَسْجِدِ قُبَاءَ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ عَلِمُوا أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ فِي غَيْرِ هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «صَلَاةُ الْأَوَّابِينَ حِينَ تَرْمَضُ الْفِصَالُ»

✧ He saw some people praying Duha in the mosque of Quba' and said, "They knew that prayer at a time other than this is better. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The prayer of the oft-returning is when the young camels feel the heat.'"
