أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ
«حَقُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ سِتٌّ» قَالُوا مَا هُنَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «إِذَا لَقِيَهُ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا دَعَاهُ أَجَابَهُ وَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَحَ نَصَحَهُ وَإِذَا عَطَسَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ يُشَمِّتُهُ وَإِذَا مَرِضَ عَادَهُ وَإِذَا مَاتَ صَحِبَهُ»

✧ "The right of a Muslim over a Muslim is six." They said, "What are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "When you meet him, greet him with salam; when he invites you, accept; when he seeks your counsel, give him sincere advice; when he sneezes and praises Allah, respond with mercy; when he is sick, visit him; and when he dies, accompany his funeral."
