machine translationAl-Zuhrī narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Al-Awzāʿī narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah. Ibn Abī al-ʿIshrīn, Bishr b. Bakr and al-Walīd b. Mazyad said this. There is disagreement about al-Walīd b. Muslim: Ṣafwān b. Ṣāliḥ narrated it from al-Walīd, from al-Awzāʿī, from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd and Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah, while others narrate it from al-Walīd, from al-Awzāʿī, from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd alone. Likewise Yūnus, ʿUqayl, Zamʿah b. Ṣāliḥ and al-Muqrī narrated it from al-Zuhrī. Likewise Abū Ḥafṣ al-Tinnīsī and Muḥammad b. Muṣʿab said from al-Awzāʿī. Muḥammad b. Ismāʿīl al-Fārisī narrated to us: Aḥmad b. al-Muʿallā al-Dimashqī narrated to us: Ṣafwān b. Ṣāliḥ narrated to us, he said: al-Walīd b. Muslim narrated to us, from al-Awzāʿī: al-Zuhrī narrated to me, from Saʿīd and Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "The right of a Muslim over a Muslim is five: returning the greeting, visiting the sick, following funeral processions, accepting an invitation, and saying 'May God have mercy on you' to one who sneezes."
