أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَعْمَى عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى شَيْطَانًا وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَأَخَذَهُ فَخَنَقَهُ حَتَّى وَجَدَ بَرْدَ لِسَانِهِ عَلَى يَدِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ ﷺ «لَوْلَا دَعْوَةُ أَخِي سُلَيْمَانَ لَأَصْبَحَ مُوثَقًا حَتَّى يَرَاهُ النَّاسُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ saw a Satan while he was praying, so he seized him and choked him until he felt the coldness of his tongue on his hand. Then he ﷺ said: "Had it not been for the supplication of my brother Sulayman, he would have been tied up for people to see."
