أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ
«اعْتَرَضَ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي مُصَلَّايَ فَأَخَذْتُ بِحَلْقِهِ فَخَنَقْتُهُ حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ بَرْدَ لِسَانِهِ عَلَى كَفِّي وَلَوْلَا مَا كَانَ مِنْ دَعْوَةِ أَخِي سُلَيْمَانَ لَأَصْبَحَ مُوثَقًا تَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهِ»

✧ Satan came across in my prayer place, so I seized him by his throat and choked him until I felt the coldness of his tongue on my palm. Had it not been for the supplication of my brother Sulayman, he would have been tied up and you would be looking at him.
