✧ Concerning the man who has two wives and forbids one of them from going out, but the one he did not forbid goes out, and he says, 'So-and-so went out'

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ:
إِنْ حَلَفَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ أَنَّهَا لَا تَخْرُجُ، فَخَرَجَتِ امْرَأَةٌ لَهُ أُخْرَى، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: هَذِهِ امْرَأَتُكَ، فَحَسِبَهَا الْأُخْرَى فَطَلَّقَهَا، قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: لَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ
