The Prophet's emigration ﷺ

Translation

✧ [Abū Bakr's hope to be the companion of the Prophet in the emigration, and what he prepared for that] Ibn Isḥāq said: Abū Bakr ؓ was a man of wealth. When he asked permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to emigrate, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: "Do not be hasty; perhaps Allah will find a companion for you." He hoped that it would be the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, meaning himself, when he said that to him. So he purchased two riding camels and kept them in his house, feeding them in preparation for that.
