The Night Journey and the Ascension
وَرَأَى الدَّجَّالَ فِي صُورَتِهِ رُؤْيَةَ عَيْنٍ لَا رُؤْيَا مَنَامٍ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ رَأَيْتَهُ؟ فَقَالَ: «رَأَيْتُهُ فَيْلَمَانِيًّا أَقْمَرَ هِجَانًا إِحْدَى عَيْنَيْهِ قَائِمَةٌ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ، كَأَنَّ شَعْرَ رَأْسِهِ أَغْصَانُ شَجَرَةٍ، أُشَبِّهُهُ بِعَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ قَطَنٍ».
Translation
✧ And he saw the Dajjāl in his form, a seeing with the eye, not a vision in sleep. It was said: O Messenger of Allah, how did you see him? He said: "I saw him as a faylamānī, fair-skinned, of pure white complexion, one of his eyes prominent as though it were a brilliant star, as though the hair of his head were branches of a tree. I liken him to ʿAbd al-ʿUzzā b. Qaṭan."
