The Birth of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and His Suckling
[ اعْتِزَازُهُ ﷺ بِقُرَشِيَّتِهِ وَاسْتِرْضَاعُهُ فِي بَنِي سَعْدٍ ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: أَنَا أَعْرَبُكُمْ، أَنَا قُرَشِيٌّ، وَاسْتُرْضِعْتُ فِي بَنِي سَعْدِ بْنِ بَكْرٍ.
Translation
✧ [His ﷺ pride in his Qurayshite lineage and his being suckled among Banū Saʿd] Ibn Isḥāq said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say to his companions: "I am the most Arab of you; I am a Qurayshī, and I was suckled among Banū Saʿd b. Bakr."
