Genealogy of Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Some Accounts of His Forefathers and Ancestors
[ مَعُونَةُ أَبِي رِغَالٍ لِأَبْرَهَةَ وَمَوْتُهُ وَقَبْرُهُ ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: فَبَعَثُوا مَعَهُ أَبَا رِغَالٍ يَدُلُّهُ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ إلَى مَكَّةَ فَخَرَجَ أَبْرَهَةُ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو رِغَالٍ حَتَّى أَنْزَلَهُ الْمُغَمِّسَ؛ فَلَمَّا أَنْزَلَهُ بِهِ مَاتَ أَبُو رِغَالٍ هُنَالِكَ، فَرَجَمَتْ قَبْرَهُ الْعَرَبُ، فَهُوَ الْقَبْرُ الَّذِي يَرْجُمُ النَّاسُ بِالْمُغَمِّسِ.
Translation
✧ [The assistance of Abū Righāl to Abraha, his death, and his grave] Ibn Isḥāq said: They sent with him Abū Righāl to guide him on the road to Makkah. Abraha set out with Abū Righāl until he made him halt at al-Mughammas. When he had made him halt there, Abū Righāl died in that place, and the Arabs stoned his grave. It is the grave which people stone at al-Mughammas.
