Genealogy of Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Some Accounts of His Forefathers and Ancestors
[ زواج عبد الله من آمنة بنت وهب زَوَاجُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِنْ آمِنَةَ بِنْتِ وَهْبٍ ] فَخَرَجَ بِهِ عَبْدُ الْمُطَّلِبِ حَتَّى أَتَى بِهِ وَهْبَ بْنَ عَبْدِ مَنَافِ بْنِ زُهْرَةَ بْنِ كِلَابِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ لُؤَيِّ بْنِ غَالِبِ بْنِ فِهْرٍ، وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ سَيِّدُ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ نَسَبًا وَشَرَفًا، فَزَوَّجَهُ ابْنَتَهُ آمِنَةَ بِنْتَ وَهْبٍ، وَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَفَضْلُ امْرَأَةٍ فِي قُرَيْشٍ نَسَبًا وَمَوْضِعًا.
Translation
✧ [ The Marriage of ʿAbd Allāh to Āminah bt. Wahb ] ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib went out with him until he brought him to Wahb b. ʿAbd Manāf b. Zuhrah b. Kilāb b. Murrah b. Kaʿb b. Luʾayy b. Ghālib b. Fihr, and on that day he was the chief of Banū Zuhrah in lineage and honor. He married him to his daughter Āminah bt. Wahb, and on that day she was the most excellent woman in Quraysh in lineage and standing.
