Then the year 358 AH began
وَفِيهَا أَرْسَلَ الْقَرَامِطَةُ رُسُلًا إِلَى بَنِي نُمَيْرٍ وَغَيْرِهِمْ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ يَدْعُونَهُمْ إِلَى طَاعَتِهِمْ، فَأَجَابُوا إِلَى ذَلِكَ، وَأُخِذَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَيْمَانُ بِالطَّاعَةِ، وَأَرْسَلَ أَبُو تَغْلِبَ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ إِلَى الْقَرَامِطَةِ بِهَجَرَ هَدَايَا جَمِيلَةً قِيمَتُهَا خَمْسُونَ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ.
Translation
✧ In this year, the Qarāmiṭa sent messengers to the Banū Numayr and other Arabs, calling them to their obedience, and they responded to that, and oaths of obedience were taken from them. Abū Taghlib b. Ḥamdān sent to the Qarāmiṭa in Hajar beautiful gifts worth fifty thousand dirhams.
