Then the year 354 AH began
وَفِيهَا، رَابِعُ جُمَادَى الْآخِرَةِ، تَقَلَّدَ الشَّرِيفُ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُوسَى وَالِدُ الرَّضِيِّ وَالْمُرْتَضَى نِقَابَةَ الْعَلَوِيِّينَ، ( وَإِمَارَةَ الْحَاجِّ )، وَكُتِبَ لَهُ مَنْشُورٌ مِنْ دِيوَانِ الْخَلِيفَةِ.
Translation
✧ In this year, on the fourth of Jumādā al-Ākhirah, the Sharīf Abū Aḥmad al-Ḥusayn b. Mūsā, father of al-Raḍī and al-Murtaḍā, took charge of the niqābah of the ʿAlawīs, and the leadership of the pilgrims, and a decree was written for him from the dīwān of the caliph.
