Then the year 354 AH began
وَفِيهَا أَنْفَذَ الْقَرَامِطَةُ سَرِيَّةً إِلَى عُمَانَ، وَالشُّرَاةُ فِي جِبَالِهَا ( كَثِيرٌ فَاجْتَمَعُوا )، فَأَوْقَعُوا بِالْقَرَامِطَةِ فَقَتَلُوا كَثِيرًا مِنْهُمْ، وَعَادَ الْبَاقُونَ.
Translation
✧ In it, the Qarāmiṭa dispatched an expeditionary force to ʿUmān, while the Shurāh in its mountains were numerous, so they gathered and fell upon the Qarāmiṭa, killing many of them, and the remainder returned.
