Translation

✧ In Ramadan, a balcony from the house of the vizier Abū Muḥammad al-Muhallabī collapsed into the Tigris. On it was a group of notables of the state, among them Abū Isḥāq Muḥammad b. Aḥmad al-Qarārīṭī, whose thigh broke; he was carried away, it was set, and it healed. As for Ibn Ḥājib al-Nuʿmān, the marrow of his back was severed, so he was carried on his bed. He remained ill until the following Friday and died.
