Then the year 350 AH began
فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ سَارَ قُفْلٌ عَظِيمٌ مِنْ أَنْطَاكِيَةَ إِلَى طَرَسُوسَ وَمَعَهُمْ صَاحِبُ أَنْطَاكِيَةَ ، فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمْ كَمِينٌ لِلرُّومِ، فَأَخَذَ مَنْ كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَقَتَلَ كَثِيرًا مِنْهُمْ، وَأَفْلَتَ صَاحِبُ أَنْطَاكِيَةَ وَبِهِ جِرَاحَاتٌ.
Translation
✧ In this year, a great caravan set out from Antioch to Tarsus, accompanied by the governor of Antioch. An ambush by the Byzantines fell upon them, seizing the Muslims who were in it and killing many of them. The governor of Antioch escaped, though wounded.
