Then the year 350 AH began
وَفِيهَا فِي رَمَضَانَ، دَخَلَ نَجَا غُلَامُ سَيْفِ الدَّوْلَةِ بِلَادَ الرُّومِ مِنْ نَاحِيَةِ مَيَّافَارِينَ غَازِيًا، وَإِنَّهُ فِي رَمَضَانَ غَنِمَ مَا قِيمَتُهُ قِيمَةٌ عَظِيمَةٌ، وَسَبَى، وَأَسَرَ وَخَرَجَ سَالِمًا.
Translation
✧ In it, in Ramadan, Najā, the slave of Sayf al-Dawlah, entered the lands of the Byzantines from the direction of Mayyāfāriqīn as a raider. And indeed in Ramadan he gained spoils of immense value, took captives, and made prisoners, and came out safely.
