ذِكْرُ مَنْ تُوُفِّيَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ مِنَ الْأَكَابِرِ 2390 - إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْقَصَّارُ، أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الرَّقِّيُّ: يَقُولُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَصَّارُ: الْمَعْرِفَةُ إِثْبَاتُ الرَّبِّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَارِجًا عَنْ كُلِّ مَوْهُومٍ، وَقَالَ: أَضْعَفُ الْخَلْقِ مَنْ ضَعُفَ عَنْ رَدِّ شَهْوَتِهِ، وَأَقْوَى الْخَلْقِ مَنْ قَوِيَ عَلَى رَدِّهَا. قَالَ السُّلَمِيُّ: كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مِنْ جُلَّةِ مَشَايِخِ الشَّامِ مِنْ أَقْرَانِ الْجُنَيْدِ عُمِّرَ وَصَحِبَهُ أَكْثَرُ مَشَايِخِ الشَّامِ، وَكَانَ مُلَازِمًا لِلْفَقْرِ. تُوُفِّيَ فِي سَنَةِ سِتٍّ وَعِشْرِينَ وَثَلَاثِمِائَةٍ. 2391 - أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ [بْنِ زِيَادِ ] بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ اللَّخْمِيُّ: أَنْدَلُسِيٌّ وَهُوَ مِنْ وَلَدِ شَبْطُونَ، وَهُوَ زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ صَاحِبُ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، وَشَبْطُونُ أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَدْخَلَ فِقْهَ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْدَلُسَ، وَعُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَضَاءُ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهُ. تُوُفِّيَ أَحْمَدُ بِالْأَنْدَلُسِ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. 2392 - جَبَلَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كُرَيْزٍ: حَدَّثَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً صَدُوقًا. تُوُفِّيَ فِي جُمَادَى الْأُولَى مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. 2393 - الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ، أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: مَوْلَى [عَلِيِّ بْنِ ] عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ مِنْ أَهْلِ سُرَّمَنْ رَأَى، حَدَّثَ بِبَغْدَادَ عَنْ جَمَاعَةٍ، رَوَى عَنْهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ، وَابْنُ بَطَّةَ. وَتُوُفِّيَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ، وَقِيلَ فِي السَّنَةِ الَّتِي قَبْلَهَا. 2394 - شُعَيْبُ بْنُ مُحْرِزِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَلَفِ بْنِ الرَّاجِبَانِ، أَبُو الْفَضْلِ الْكَاتِبُ: حَدَّثَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ شَبَّةَ، وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، رَوَى عَنْهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ، وَالْمُخَلِّصُ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً. تُوُفِّيَ فِي رَبِيعٍ الْآخَرِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. 2395 - عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ جِبْرِيلَ، أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَرَّاقُ الشَّمْعِيُّ: حَدَّثَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَرْبٍ. رَوَى عَنْهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ، وَابْنُ شَاهِينَ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً. وَتُوُفِّيَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. 2396 - عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْخَيَّاطُ الطِّينِيُّ: سَمِعَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ الْجُنَيْدِ، وَالْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَرَفَةَ، رَوَى عَنْهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ، [وَيُوسُفُ الْقَوَّاسُ ]، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً، تُوُفِّيَ فِي ذِي الْقِعْدَةِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. 2397 - [عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَكْرِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَبُو شَيْبَةَ يُعْرَفُ بِابْنِ الْخَوَارِزْمِيِّ: سَمِعَ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَرَفَةَ، رَوَى عَنْهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً. تُوُفِّيَ فِي جُمَادَى الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. 2398 - مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَمِيسِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَصْرِيُّ: سَمِعَ أَبَا عَلْقَمَةَ الْفَرَوِيَّ وَالْحَسَنَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ [بْنِ ] الصَّبَّاحِ وَغَيْرَهُمَا. أَنْفَقَ فِي طَلَبِ الْحَدِيثِ أُلُوفَ الدَّنَانِيرِ، رَوَى عَنْهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ، وَقَالَ: هُوَ مِنَ الثِّقَاتِ. وَتُوُفِّيَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ.
Translation
✧ Mention of the notables who died in this year 2390 - Ibrāhīm b. Dāwūd al-Qaṣṣār, Abū Isḥāq al-Raqqī: Ibrāhīm al-Qaṣṣār says: Knowledge is the affirmation of the Lord, mighty and majestic be He, as being beyond all that is imagined. And he said: The weakest of creation is he who is too weak to repel his desire, and the strongest of creation is he who has strength to repel it. Al-Sulamī said: Ibrāhīm was among the foremost shaykhs of Syria, of the peers of al-Junayd. He lived long, and most of the shaykhs of Syria kept his company, and he was constant in poverty. He died in the year 326. 2391 - Aḥmad b. Ziyād b. Muḥammad [b. Ziyād] b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Lakhmī: An Andalusian, and he was of the descendants of Shabṭūn, who is Ziyād b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, the companion of Mālik b. Anas. Shabṭūn was the first to introduce the fiqh of Mālik to al-Andalus, and the judgeship was offered to him but he did not accept it. Aḥmad died in al-Andalus in this year. 2392 - Jabala b. Muḥammad b. Kurayz: He transmitted from Yūnus b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlā, and he was reliable and truthful. He died in Jumādā al-Ūlā of this year. 2393 - Al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Zayd b. Ḥumayd b. ʿUbayd Allāh b. Miqsam, Abū Muḥammad: A client of [ʿAlī b.] ʿAbd Allāh b. al-ʿAbbās b. ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, from the people of Surra man raʾā. He transmitted in Baghdad from a group, and al-Dāraquṭnī and Ibn Baṭṭa narrated from him. He died in this year, and it is said in the year before it. 2394 - Shuʿayb b. Muḥriz b. ʿUbayd Allāh b. Khalaf b. al-Rājibān, Abū al-Faḍl al-Kātib: He transmitted from ʿUmar b. Shabba and ʿAlī b. Ḥarb. Al-Dāraquṭnī and al-Mukhalliṣ narrated from him, and he was reliable. He died in Rabīʿ al-Ākhir of this year. 2395 - ʿAbd Allāh b. al-ʿAbbās b. Jibrīl, Abū Muḥammad al-Warrāq al-Shamʿī: He transmitted from ʿAlī b. Ḥarb. Al-Dāraquṭnī and Ibn Shāhīn narrated from him, and he was reliable. He died in this year. 2396 - ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Haytham b. Khālid, Abū Muḥammad al-Khayyāṭ al-Ṭīnī: He heard Ibrāhīm b. al-Junayd and al-Ḥasan b. ʿArafa. Al-Dāraquṭnī [and Yūsuf al-Qawwās] narrated from him, and he was reliable. He died in Dhū al-Qiʿda of this year. 2397 - [ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Jaʿfar b. Bakr b. Ibrāhīm, Abū Shayba, known as Ibn al-Khawārizmī: He heard al-Ḥasan b. ʿArafa. Al-Dāraquṭnī narrated from him, and he was reliable. He died in Jumādā al-Ākhira of this year. 2398 - Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar b. Ramīs b. ʿAmr, Abū Bakr al-Qaṣrī: He heard Abū ʿAlqama al-Farawī and al-Ḥasan b. Muḥammad [b.] al-Ṣabbāḥ and others besides them. He spent thousands of dinars in the pursuit of hadith. Al-Dāraquṭnī narrated from him and said: He is among the reliable ones. He died in this year.
