Then the Year 324 AH Began
وَوَقَعَ فِيهَا حَرِيقٌ بِعُمَانَ احْتَرَقَ فِيهِ مِنَ السُّودَانِ أَلْفٌ، وَمِنَ الْبِيضَانِ خَلْقٌ كَثِيرٌ، وَكَانَ مِنْ جُمْلَةِ مَا احْتَرَقَ فِيهِ أَرْبَعُمِائَةِ حِمْلِ كَافُورٍ.
Translation
✧ And in it a fire occurred in ʿUmān in which a thousand of the blacks burned, and many of the whites, and among what burned in it was four hundred loads of camphor.
