Then the Year 323 AH Began
فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ فِي الْمُحَرَّمِ قَلَّدَ الرَّاضِي بِاللَّهِ وَلَدَيْهِ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ وَأَبَا الْفَضْلِ نَاحِيَتَيِ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ مِمَّا بِيَدِهِ، وَكَتَبَ بِذَلِكَ إِلَى الْبِلَادِ.
Translation
✧ In this year, in Muḥarram, al-Rāḍī bi-Allāh invested his two sons, Abū Jaʿfar and Abū al-Faḍl, with the two regions of the east and the west of what was in his hand, and he wrote of that to the lands.
