the accounts of past peoples from the Israelites and others

Translation

✧ Al-Bukhārī said with his chain of transmission on the authority of Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: While a dog was circling around a well, thirst almost killed it, a prostitute from the prostitutes of the Children of Israel saw it, so she took off her shoe and gave it water, and she was forgiven because of that. Muslim also narrated it from Abū al-Ṭāhir b. al-Sarḥ, from Ibn Wahb, with the same chain.
