The year 283 AH
الْفِدَاءِ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَالرُّومِ فِي سنة ثلاث وثمانين ومائتينكَانَ الْفِدَاءُ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالرُّومِ، فَكَانَ جُمْلَةُ مَنْ فُدِيَ بِهِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الرِّجَالِ، وَالنِّسَاءِ، وَالصِّبْيَانِ، أَلْفَيْنِ وَخَمْسَمِائَةٍ وَأَرْبَعَةَ أَنْفُسٍ. وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ وَالْمِنَّةُ.
Translation
✧ The ransom between the Muslims and the Byzantines In the year two hundred and eighty-three AH, the ransom took place between the Muslims and the Byzantines. The total number of Muslims ransomed, of men, women, and children, was two thousand five hundred and four souls. And to God belongs praise and grace.
