خَلَاصِ ابْنِ الْمُدَبِّرِ مِنَ الزَّنْجِ وَفِيهَا تَخَلَّصَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُدَبِّرِ مِنْ حَبْسِ الزَّنْجِ، وَكَانَ سَبَبُ خَلَاصِهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَحْبُوسًا فِي بَيْتِ يَحْيَى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَحْرَانِيِّ، وَوَكَّلَ بِهِ رَجُلَيْنِ، مَنْزِلُهُمَا مُلَاصِقُ الْمَنْزِلِ الَّذِي فِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ، فَضَمِنَ لَهُمَا مَالًا، وَرَغَّبَهُمَا، فَعَمِلَا سَرَبًا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي فِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ، فَخَرَجَ هُوَ وَابْنُ أَخٍ لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو غَالِبٍ وَرَجُلٌ هَاشِمِيٌّ.
Translation
✧ The escape of Ibn al-Mudabbir from the Zanj In this year, Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. al-Mudabbir escaped from the imprisonment of the Zanj. The reason for his escape was that he was imprisoned in the house of Yaḥyā b. Muḥammad al-Baḥrānī, and two men were entrusted with guarding him. Their dwelling was adjacent to the dwelling in which Ibrāhīm was. He promised them wealth and enticed them, so they dug a tunnel to the house in which Ibrāhīm was, and he, a nephew of his called Abū Ghālib, and a Hāshimī man came out.
