The Year 217 AH
ثُمَّ دَخَلَتْ سَنَةُ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ وَمِائَتَيْنِ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ ظَفِرَ الْأَفْشِينُ بِالْفَرَمَا مِنْ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ، وَنَزَلَ أَهْلُهَا بِأَمَانٍ عَلَى حُكْمِ الْمَأْمُونِ.
Translation
✧ Then the year two hundred and seventeen entered. In this year al-Afshīn captured al-Faramā in the land of Egypt, and its inhabitants came down under safe conduct according to the judgment of al-Maʾmūn.
