The Year 214 AH
( وَفِيهَا تُوُفِّيَ إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ - بِالْمَغْرِبِ، وَقَامَ بَعْدَهُ ابْنُهُ مُحَمَّدٌ بِأَمْرِ مَدِينَةِ فَاسَ، فَوَلَّى أَخَاهُ الْقَاسِمَ الْبَصْرَةَ وَطَنْجَةَ وَمَا يَلِيهِمَا، وَاسْتَعْمَلَ بَاقِي إِخْوَتِهِ عَلَى مُدُنِ الْبَرْبَرَةِ.
Translation
✧ In this year Idrīs b. ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Ḥasan b. al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib ﷺ died in the Maghrib, and after him his son Muḥammad assumed the affairs of the city of Fās. He appointed his brother al-Qāsim over al-Baṣrah and Ṭanjah and what adjoins them, and he employed the rest of his brothers over the cities of the Berbers.
