The Year 214 AH
وَفِيهَا دَخَلَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ بْنُ الرَّشِيدِ الدِّيَارَ الْمِصْرِيَّةَ، فَافْتَتَحَهَا وَاسْتَعَادَهَا إِلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ، وَظَفِرَ بِعَبْدِ السَّلَامِ وَابْنِ جَلِيسٍ وَقَتَلَهُمَا.
Translation
✧ In this year, Abū Isḥāq b. al-Rashīd entered the Egyptian territories, conquered them, and restored them to obedience and allegiance. He captured ʿAbd al-Salām and Ibn Jalīs and killed them both.
