The Year 212 AH
وَفِيهَا كَانَتْ بِالْيَمَنِ زَلْزَلَةٌ شَدِيدَةٌ، فَكَانَ أَشَدُّهَا بِعَدَنَ، فَتَهَدَّمَتِ الْمَنَازِلُ، وَخَرِبَتِ الْقُرَى، وَهَلَكَ فِيهَا خَلْقٌ كَثِيرٌ.
Translation
✧ In this year there was a severe earthquake in Yemen, the most intense of it being in ʿAdan. Dwellings collapsed, villages were ruined, and many people perished in it.
