The Year 211 AH
( وَفِيهَا خَرَجَ بِأَعْمَالِ تَاكُرُنَّا مِنَ الْأَنْدَلُسِ [ طَوْرِيلُ ]، فَقَصَدَ جَمَاعَةً مِنَ الْجُنْدِ قَدْ نَزَلُوا بِبَعْضِ قُرَى تَاكُرُنَّا مُمْتَارِينَ، فَقَتَلَهُمْ، وَأَخَذَ دَوَابَّهُمْ وَسِلَاحَهُمْ وَمَا مَعَهُمْ، فَسَارَ إِلَيْهِ عَامِلُهَا.
Translation
✧ In this year, in the districts of Tākurunnā in al-Andalus, [Ṭawrīl] revolted. He targeted a group of soldiers who had camped in one of the villages of Tākurunnā seeking provisions, killed them, and seized their mounts, their weapons, and whatever was with them. The governor of the district then marched against him.
